The Best Editors In The USA? Fair EssayEdge Review

My first impression of this platform was completely positive. When I was scrolling the website, I noticed the great design of the pages. Everything seemed so cool until I bumped into the prices. And services. And the site in general. 

My EssayEdge review is just my own experience using this editing service. Plus, I’ll provide some feedback from their customers. And now, let’s check some general information about EssayEdge.com:

Types of services Essay Edge offers

The range of the services the company provides consists only of the editing and proofreading. They can also shorten your essay or give some advice on how to make it better, but nothing more. Here are the different packages the EssayEdge provides:

As you can see, not so much for its price. When I needed my essay to be made from scratch elsewhere, I paid $68 for two pages. But it was original material and this site offers only editing your own. Thus, decide for yourself whether you’re ready to pay this much. 

Crew of professionals 

The description of the editors is just flawless: diplomas of the best universities, many years of experience and all this stuff. Every proofreader has his/her own profile with a sort of a small autobiography dwelling on the editor’s education. Besides, it is noticed in what fields they’re experts. 

In this screenshot, you can see not only editors but my chat with the support team. Truly, they answered neither in 20 minutes nor in one hour. It was a little bit offensive, you know. I simply wanted to know how many editors are working on Essays Edge. Actually, not so many, I counted only 19, and a half of them were busy with other orders.

My order

I needed to proofread my college essay on the Chemistry class. The ordering process was quite simple. I was asked to fill in the form and pay in advance.

My essay was of 700 words, so I needed to pay $99 (!!!!!) for simple proofreading. With the 10% discount they gave me, it happened to be $89, but still – too much! I could purchase a whole essay for this price easily.

But ok, as much as I was astonished with the cost, I was shocked by the results I received. There were no “constructive suggestions” as they promised. Only some remarks like “you can add more” or “check other resources”. See, nothing “constructive”. Yes, they fixed the typos and grammar mistakes, but I expected much more for this price. And mind that the Smallest deadline is 2 days. What they proofread these 2 days will remain a mystery for me. Next time, I’ll rather use a writing service.  

EssayEdge Reviews from its customers

Here are some of the Essay Edge reviews I found. Yes, this service has a really cool online reputation, but I frankly don’t know why. But if you pay closer attention to these reviews in the screenshots, you can notice they seem to be a bit “unnatural”.

They all are pretty detailed and big. I suppose, maybe not all of them, but the larger part is paid. Usually, the fair services review doesn’t look like these ones.

As you can see, the drawbacks are much bigger than the disadvantages. I don’t even understand why this platform is so popular. 

Essay Edge Review: is this service legit?

Taking into account all the mentioned before, I don’t think this platform is reliable. You won’t receive something more than simple proofreading. Even the suggestions aren’t useful at all. Perhaps, if you’re too lazy to check your academic essay yourself and have a lot of extra money, then, this service is suitable. In any other cases, I’d rather use an essay writing service. Luckily, there are a lot of them on the Internet. For this price, you’ll easily find a proper writer to make your documents.
